CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM This is an open letter to all 2011 graduates. Graduates: curb your enthusiasm. I do not say this to discourage you, I say this to help prepare you mentally for the world you are about to enter. Most of you have been living in an alternate universe for some time now. Thirteen years if you are graduating High School, probably at least 17 years if you are finishing up your undergrad degree, and maybe near a quarter-century or more for you (over)achieving masters and doctorate students.
